PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Little East Conference (LEC) announced its women’s tennis weekly award winner for the week ending Sept. 13, with UMass Dartmouth’s Magali Breur earning both Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week honors following an undefeated week for the Corsairs.

Player & Rookie of the Week – Magali Breur, UMass Dartmouth

Breur went undefeated at the top of the UMass Dartmouth lineup, posting a 1-0 record at No. 1 singles and a 1-0 mark at No. 1 doubles. The rookie earned a 6-2, 6-0 straight-set victory over University of Saint Joseph’s Carolina Mancini in singles action.

Breur also teamed with Ava Aguiar at No. 1 doubles, where the duo earned a 6-0 victory over Anna Beauchene and Mancini. With the two victories, Breur improved to 3-0 in singles and 3-0 in doubles competition to begin the season.
