Player of the Week

Teige Kimbler (Albany, N.Y.) - Junior - Second Base - Eastern Connecticut
Kimbler batted .500 with nine runs scored, a .700 slugging percentage and a .737 on-base percentage in a 2-2 week for the Warriors, which also saw him go 5-for-5 in stolen bases. He scored three times and had one RBI while drawing four walks in a 13-3 win over Westfield State Friday before going 2-for-4 with a triple, one RBI and three runs scored in a 9-1 win over the Owls Saturday. He was 1-for-3 with an RBI in a setback to Keystone. 

Pitcher of the Week

Rob Moynihan (Ledyard, Conn.) - Senior - Eastern Connecticut
In his Eastern debut, the first-year transfer gained his first win by striking out  ten with one walk in a 9-1 win over Westfield State University at Towson, Md. He allowed one run on five hits, fanning the side once and two batters twice.

Rookie of the Week

Alex McClelland (Vernon, Vt.) - Freshman - Infield - VTSU Castleton
McClelland batted .500 (8-for-16) with one double and one triple, five RBI and four runs scored in a 3-3 week for the Spartans. In the 14-2 win over John Jay he had three hits and one RBI, and tied his career-high three hits in game two against John Jay in the 12-2 win, while adding a career-high three RBIs, he notched his first career double and triple in the win as well. In the 7-1 loss to St. John Fisher, he posted two hits with one RBI.
