Yankee Ford LEC Women’s Volleyball Athletes of the Week: September 29, 2025 9/29/2025 4:06:42 PM Offensive Player of the Week Olivia Seutter (Mesa, Ariz.) - Sophomore - Opposite - UMass Dartmouth Seutte averaged 5.00 points per set while hitting .333 as the Corsairs swept a tri-match against Southern Maine and Trinity (Conn.) Saturday. She posted a match-best 19 kills with just two errors on 27 swings for a .630 hitting percentage, while adding four digs and a block assist in a 3-0 victory over Southern Maine in the LEC opener. Suetter also recorded a match-high 20 kills with three digs and a block assist as the Corsairs battled back from down 2-1 to defeat Trinity (Conn.) by a 3-2 score. Co-Defensive Player of the Week Brooke Praskievicz (Moodus, Conn.) - Junior - Pin - Eastern Connecticut Praskievicz averaged 5.11 digs per set in a 2-0 week for the Warriors, registering 25 digs with two aces and three blocks in a 3-2 league win over Keene State and posting 21 digs with 13 kills and two aces in a four-set non-conference win over Hartford. Emily Pogorelec (Wayne, N.J.) - Senior - Defensive Specialist - UMass Dartmouth Pogorelec averaged 5.13 digs per set as the Corsairs posted two wins in tri-match action on Saturday. She posted 10 digs with four assists in a conference sweep of Southern Maine to open LEC action and notched a season-best 31 digs as the Corsairs battled back from down 2-1 to defeat Trinity (Conn.) by a 3-2 margin. Setter of the Week Skye Peters (Albuquerque, N.M.) - Junior - UMass Dartmouth Peters averaged 8.25 assists per set running the Corsairs two-setter offense during their two wins on Saturday. She notched 30 assists with an ace and seven digs in the season-opening LEC win over Southern Maine and recorded 36 assists with an ace, a block assist and 15 digs as UMass Dartmouth rallied to defeat Trinity (Conn.). Rookie of the Week Sya McKay (Somersworth, N.H.) - Freshman - Middle Hitter - Plymouth State McKay averaged 3.14 kills, 1.29 blocks and 4.43 points per set in a pair of Panther wins last week, while hitting .314. She posted 11 kills (.276) and seven blocks as PSU knocked off Rhode Island College on Saturday, 3-1. In Wednesday’s sweep of VTSU Lyndon, she added another 11 kills (.364) with two aces, two blocks and three digs.
