Offensive Player of the Week

Olivia Seutter (Mesa, Ariz) - Sophomore - Opposite - UMass Dartmouth
Seutter posted 44 kills while hitting .340 in a 2-1 week for the Corsairs, which saw her surpass 500 career kills for her collegiate career. She had 13 kills (.357) in a 3-1 loss at Johnson & Wales (R.I.) on Wednesday before totaling 10 kills with two block assists in a 3-1 win over Endicott at Brandies on Saturday. Shutter then notched a career-high 21 kills with no errors on 31 swings for a .667 hitting percentage in a 3-2 win over the tri-match host Judges on Saturday.

Defensive Player of the Week

Mary Matthews (Wilsonville, Ore.) - Sophomore - Libero - UMass Boston
Matthews totaled 51 digs and averaged 5.67 digs per set in a 3-0 week for the Beacons in non-conference play. She opened the week with 24 digs in a sweep at Mount Holyoke Wednesday before totaling 15 digs in a sweep of Saint Joseph (Conn.) and 12 digs in a sweep of Colby-Sawyer Saturday. Matthews leads the LEC with 231 total digs and an average of 5.25 digs per set this season.

Setter of the Week

Skye Peters (Albuquerque, N.M.) - Junior - UMass Dartmouth
Peters totaled 69 assists (5.31 per set), 23 digs (1.77 per set) and seven aces (0.54 per set) in a 2-1 week for the Corsairs. She opened the week with 22 assists and 6 digs in a 3-1 loss at Johnson & Wales (R.I.) on Wednesday before UMass Dartmouth swept a tri-match on the road Saturday. Peters had  21 assists with four aces and 12 digs in a 3-1 win over Endicott before notching 26 assists, two aces and five digs in a 3-2 win over Brandeis, which hosted the matches.

Rookie of the Week

Sya McKay (Somersworth, N.H.) - Freshman - Middle Hitter - Plymouth State
McKay hit .356 and averaged 3.67 kills per set to help the Panthers to a pair of 3-0 sweeps last week. She pounded 10 kills (.304) with three digs, one ace, and one block in a sweep of St. Joseph’s (Maine) on Tuesday, then added 12 kills (.409), with two aces, and two blocks as PSU blanked Bridgewater State on Saturday.
