She hit .436 in the match, while also registering 16 digs against the Owls. Defensive Player of the Week Emily Pogorelec (Wayne, N.J.) - Senior - Defensive Specialist - UMass Dartmouth Pogorelec helped pace the Corsairs to victory in their only match last week - a 3-1 win at LEC-rival Keene State Friday night. She posted a match-best 25 digs, adding five assists and a service ace. Her efforts moved her into first in the LEC in overall digs with 294 for the season. Setter of the Week Audrey Cofield (Ypsilanti, Mich.) - Sophomore - UMass Boston Cofield averaged 13.00 assists per set in a 2-0 week for the Beacons. She had a career-high 53 against with seven digs and four aces in a 3-1 conference win at RIC after handing out 38 against with six digs in a sweep of New England College in non-conference action. Rookie of the Week Sya McKay (Somersworth, N.H.) - Freshman - Middle Hitter - Plymouth State McKay averaged 2.43 kills and 3.71 points per set to help Plymouth State to a 2-0 week. She registered 10 kills, three blocks, and two aces in a 3-1 win at WestConn on Saturday, after pounding seven kills (.313) with three aces and a block in a road sweep of Rivier on Wednesday.
