Field Athlete of the Week Michael D'Amico (Belgrade Lakes, Maine) - Senior - Southern Maine D'Amico won the heptathlon over the weekend at the Elm City Classic with a personal-best total of 4,701 points that currently ranks him seventh in DIII. He was the top performer in the 60 hurdles with a time of 8.86 seconds while setting personal bests in the 1,000 (2:55.53), pole vault (4.45m), long jump (6.20m), and 60 dash (7.49). His score ranks fifth in USM program history. Rookie Field Athlete of the Week Mark Boudreau (Oxford, Conn.) - Freshman - Eastern Connecticut Boudreau won the shot put in his first collegiate meet by 1.06 meters with a toss of 14.31 meters at the season-opening Wesleyan University Invitational, which is the sixth-longest all-time in program history. He was also seventh in the weight throw (12.61m). Rookie Track Athlete of the Week Maycol Reynoso (Providence, R.I.) - Freshman - Rhode Island College Reynoso had a pair of runner-up finishes at the Suffolk Relays Saturday, posting a 200 dash time of 22.87 seconds and taking a leg of the sprint medley relay (3:38.65). He was fifth in the 60 dash with a time of 7.03 seconds.
