PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Little East Conference (LEC) announced its women’s volleyball weekly award winners for the week ending September 20, 2026. UMass Dartmouth’s Allison Pate, Maddie Carter and Skye Peters, along with Keene State College’s Bella Bacon, were recognized following their performances last week.

Offensive Player of the Week – Allison Pate, UMass Dartmouth

Pate totaled 71 kills over five matches for the Corsairs, averaging 3.23 kills per set while adding 57 digs, four assists, four service aces and three block assists. The junior outside hitter tied her career high with 20 kills and added 12 digs in a 3-2 victory over Salve Regina University before setting a new career high with 21 kills, 11 digs and two aces in a 3-1 win over Union College. Pate also recorded double-digit kills against No. 22 Babson College and Brandeis University, including 17 digs against the Judges.

Defensive Player of the Week – Maddie Carter, UMass Dartmouth

Carter recorded 24 total blocks, including five solo blocks, over five matches for UMass Dartmouth. The middle blocker also contributed 33 kills while hitting .418 and added six digs. Carter posted five total blocks and seven kills in a 3-2 victory over Salve Regina before recording six block assists against No. 22 Babson. She added eight total blocks, including three solo, against Endicott College and finished the week averaging 1.09 blocks per set.

Setter of the Week – Skye Peters, UMass Dartmouth

Peters totaled 171 assists over five matches, averaging 7.77 assists per set, while adding 50 digs, nine service aces, six kills and six block assists. The junior setter reached a career milestone in UMass Dartmouth’s 3-2 victory over Salve Regina, becoming just the fourth player in the program’s 55-year history to record 2,000 career assists. Peters posted a career-high 49 assists, 12 digs and two aces in the win before adding 45 assists, 11 digs and three aces in a 3-1 victory over Union.

Rookie of the Week – Bella Bacon, Keene State

Bacon totaled 24 kills, 37 digs, seven service aces and four block assists over three matches for the Owls. The first-year outside hitter recorded seven kills and nine digs against Rivier University before posting nine kills, 16 digs and three aces in a five-set match against Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Bacon closed the week with eight kills on a .500 hitting percentage, 12 digs, four assists, two aces and two block assists in Keene State’s 3-0 victory over Western New England University.
