PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Little East Conference (LEC) announced its men’s golf weekly award winners for the week ending September 13, 2026. University of Southern Maine’s Will Farschon was named Player of the Week, while Keene State College’s Cole Madden earned Rookie of the Week honors.

Player of the Week – Will Farschon, Southern Maine

Farschon earned medalist honors at the John Queenan Memorial Invitational, leading the field of 64 golfers with a two-under-par 70. The junior from Brunswick, Maine, competed as part of the Huskies’ B Team and claimed the individual title on the par-72, 6,474-yard course at Point Sebago Golf Resort. Southern Maine also captured the team title, finishing first among 11 teams at the event.

Rookie of the Week – Cole Madden, Keene State

Madden posted a strong showing at the Tony Mariano Invitational, helping Keene State finish third among eight teams. The first-year golfer from Hanover, Mass., carded a 79 on the par-71, 6,315-yard Country Club of Barre course to finish tied for 13th among 40 competitors. Madden’s round featured eight pars and two birdies.
