Player of the Week

RaeLynn Perregaux (Torrington, Conn.) - Senior - UMass Dartmouth
It was a career week for the Corsairs’ third baseman, as she batted an astounding .813 at the plate, going 13-for-16 in a 4-0 conference week for UMass Dartmouth. She had eight runs scored with 12 runs batted in, hitting four doubles, a triple and two home runs. She also had a .824 on-base percentage and a 1.563 slugging percentage.

In a 12-2 game one win (5 innings), Perregaux went 4-for-4 with three runs scored and six RBI, including a two-run home run and a three-run home run that both came in the top of the fifth inning. She went 4-for-4 in a 10-1 game two win, with two doubles, two runs scored and three RBI. In a 17-4 game-one win at WestConn on Saturday, Perregaux was 4-for-5 with a double, two runs scored with three runs batted in. She capped her week going 1-for-3 with a triple and run scored in an 8-5 game-two win over the Wolves.

Pitcher of the Week

Mia Crudale (Cranston, R.I.) - Freshman - Rhode Island College
Crudale appeared in two games last week, going 2-0 with a 0.58 ERA and 11 strikeouts in 12.0 innings pitched. She hurled a complete game as RIC defeated Eastern Connecticut on the road, 2-1, allowing one earned run on three hits to go along with seven strikeouts. Crudale allowed just one unearned run on five hits with four strikeouts as RIC cruised to a 10-1, five-winning home win over Keene State. 

Rookie of the Week

Chloe Edwards (Windham, Maine) - Freshman - UMass Dartmouth
Edwards batted .545 (6-for-11) with two extra-base hits, six runs scored and seven RBI. In a 12-2 game-one win at Keene, she went 2-for-2 with two runs scored before going 1-for-2 with a run scored and two runs batted in during a 10-1 game-two triumph over the Owls. She opened a twin bill at WestConn going 2-for-4 with two runs scored and four RBI during a 17-4 victory, notching an RBI triple in the fourth before launching her first collegiate home run - a three-run shot - in the top of the sixth, and capped the week going 1-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI in an 8-5 game-two win over the Wolves.
