NEW ORLEANS - The postseason honors continue to roll in for UMass Boston women’s track & field standout Aryianna Garceau, who has been named the East Region Track Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2025 outdoor season.
Garceau did not lose a 100-meter hurdles final from April 4 though the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, a run that saw her claim victory at the Little East Conference (LEC), Division III New England and NEICAAA Outdoor Championships. That string of victories culminated with her winning the NCAA Division III title as she clocked in with a personal-best 13.54 (+1.0) to obliterate a 27-year-old DIII record by 0.06 seconds.
The 2025 LEC Track Athlete of the Year also earned First Team All-America honors where her national championship performance. In addition to winning the LEC 100 hurdles title, Garceau was first across the finish line in the 100- and 200-meter dash at the 2025 LEC Outdoor Championships with respective times of 11.91 and 24.27. She was named All-Region by the USTFCCCA in all three of these individual event.
