Yankee Ford LEC Women’s Track & Field Athletes of the Week: December 8, 2025 12/8/2025 6:11:45 PM Field Athlete of the Week Givanni Perry (Hartford, Conn.) - Sophomore - Eastern Connecticut Perry won the high jump (1.60m) and long jump (5.31m) at the season-opening Wesleyan University Invitational. Her mark in the high jump was easily a PR and was just off the program record. Track Athlete of the Week Aryianna Garceau (Dalton, Mass.) - Senior - UMass Boston Garceau competed in two meets in as many days over the opening weekend of the season, winning the 200 dash in 24.92 seconds at Boston University’s Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener Saturday before winning the 60 hurdles with a time of 8.65 seconds at the UMass Boston Season Opener Sunday at the TRACK at New Balance. She is second in the nation in the 60 hurdles, while ranking fourth in the country in the 200. Rookie Field Athlete of the Week Ballay Conteh (Concord, N,H.) - Junior - Keene State Conteh won the long jump with a leap of 5.39 meters at the Suffolk Relays, a mark that ranks her 21st in DIII this season. Rookie Track Athlete of the Week Naziah Johnson (Norwalk, Conn.) - Freshman - Eastern Connecticut Johnson broke her own program record of 7.93 set in the preliminaries of the 60 meters with a finals time of 7.92 to place second overall at the season-opening Wesleyan University Invitational The previous time to beat was 8.04. Johnson was also second in the triple jump (10.65m) and fourth in the long jump (4.73m) at the meet. Relay of the Week Plymouth State 4x200 Sophomores Olivia Rudy (Hudson, N.H.) and Eila Trottier (Francestown, N.H.), and freshmen Sophie West (Rochester, N.H.) and Clare Tuohy (Sunapee, N.H.) combined for a time of 1:53.05 to win the 4x200-meter relay at the PSU Winter Classic on Friday.
