LEC Women’s Track & Field Teams Compete at NEICAAA Outdoor Championships, UMass Boston’s Garceau Posts Fastest 100 Hurdles time in Nation

AMHERST, Mass. - The outdoor track & field season rolled on to the 2025 New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Outdoor Championships Saturday at UMass Amherst, where the Little East Conference’s best competed against their Division I and Division II counterparts.
 
UMass Boston’s Aryianna Garceau was victorious in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.53 seconds, a mark that is the fastest in NCAA Division III this season and ranks as the third-fastest time in NCAA Division III history under all conditions. She additionally placed fourth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.46 seconds.
 
Natasha Frisch tied for third in the pole vault by clearing 3.97 meters on her third attempt, missing out on second place points on a tie-break. Her mark ranks eighth in NCAA Division III this season.
 
Southern Maine’s Zoe Barnes was the NEICAAA runner-up in the discus with a top toss of 43.98 meters on the day. Keene State’s Maggie St. John placed eighth in the 10K with a time of 38:39.03.
