Swimmer of the Week

Maeve McDermott (Troy, N.Y.) - Junior - University of New England
McDermott had four winning performances in the Nor’easters’ first-ever win over Mount Holyoke Saturday. She was first to finish in the 50 breaststroke (33.40), 100 breaststroke (1:14.06) and 200 IM (2:24.39) - she had the top time in the LEC in the 100 breaststroke, is second in the 200 IM and third in the 50 breaststroke. McDermott additionally had the third leg of the first-place 200 medley relay (2:00.25).

Diver of the Week

Cailey Simard (Haverhill, Mass.) - Senior - Bridgewater State
Simard swept the diving events in the Bears dual meet loss to Wheaton (Mass.) on Saturday, taking the one-meter event with 314.80 points and the three-meter event with a program-record 356.80 points.

Rookie Swimmer of the Week

Isabella Zeppa (Monson, Mass.) - Freshman - Westfield State
Zeppa turned in three winning performances in the Owls’ 145-125 win over Simmons Saturday. She was first to finish in the 50 freestyle (25.83) and 100 backstroke (1:04.82) - with both times ranking third in the LEC this season - and was a member of the winning 200 freestyle relay (1:48.91). Zeppa additionally swam the lead-off leg of the second-place 200 medley relay (2:02.06).

Rookie Diver of the Week

Sienna DeLucia (Wallingford, Conn.) - Freshman - Bridgewater State
DeLucia was the runner-up to Simard on the one-meter board Saturday against Wheaton (Mass.) with her score of 236.70 points.
