Player of the Week

Lauren Miner (Millbury, Mass.) - Senior - UMass Boston

Miner batted .591 (10-for-19) and slugged 1.316 as she racked up 10 runs scored, 14 RBI, four home runs and six total extra base hits in a perfect 6-0 week for the Beacons. She broke the program record for single season RBI with 50 and set the record for RBI in a single game with seven as she went 3-for-3 with two homers in a 9-1 win over Keene State to close out the regular season, clinching the sixth and final spot in the 2026 Little East Conference Championship Tournament.

Miner was a combined 3-for-6 with one triple, one homer, four RBI and four runs scored in a LEC sweep of WestConn (4-1 and 11-2) to open the week. She followed that performance going 3-for-7 with a solo homer, a double, two RBI and two runs scored in a non-conference sweep of Massachusetts Maritime (7-1 and 11-1)

Pitcher of the Week

Edy Crawford (Exeter, N.H.) - Sophomore - UMass Dartmouth

Crawford helped the Corsairs to a 3-2 overall record as she posted a 1-1 record with two complete games, a shutout, and a save over her three appearances. She yielded  just two unearned runs on nine hits over 16.0 innings pitched, striking out 11 batters while walking just one.

Crawford allowed just one hit in two innings pitched of an 8-4 win over Eastern Connecticut to earn a save. She surrendered just three hits over seven innings of a 5-0 shutout at Vermont State Castleton on Saturday in game-two of the doubleheader, striking out six batters with no free passes. Her one loss of the week was a 2-0 decision to Eastern Connecticut, giving up two unearned runs on five hits over seven innings while recording four Ks.

Rookie of the Week

Emily Wheeler (Old Town, Maine) - Freshman - Southern Maine

Hitting safely in each of the Huskies' four games in a 3-1 week, Wheeler finished the week 7-for-16 (.438) from the second spot in the lineup. Wheeler was 5-for-9 overall in a sweep on the road at WestConn, which saw her score two times and drive in three runs. She had a three-run triple in USM's 10-7 win over the Wolves in game-two.
