She had a goal and an assist in a 3-0 victory at Plymouth State Wednesday before adding two power play goals in a 5-1 rout of SUNY Cortland, which was among the teams receiving votes in the December 1 edition of the USCHO.com DIII Poll. Goaltender of the Week Maggie Jones (St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador) - Junior - Southern Maine Jones made 25 saves in a 1-0 shutout against LEC-rival Keene State on Friday night, with 10 of those saves coming in the second period. She now had three shutouts on the season. Rookie of the Week Claire Deis (Calgary, Alberta) - Freshman - Defense - Plymouth State Deis notched a goal and an assist with three blocked shots to help the Panthers to a 2-1 week. All of her scoring came in PSU’s 3-2 win over Salve Regina on Friday, as her assist gave PSU a 2-0 lead in the second; after the Seahawks rallied to tie things in the third, Deis potted the game-winner less than 30 seconds later. She added a pair of blocked shots in a 4-3 win at Curry on Saturday.
