Player of the Week

Madison Chagnon (St. Albans, Vt.) - Graduate Student - Forward - Southern Maine
Chagnon scored the game-winning goal 1:49 into overtime to give the Huskies a 2-1 win over Johnson & Wales on Friday night. She also had an assist on USM’s first goal of the game. The game-winner is her second of the season and 17th of her career, extending her program-record.

Goaltender of the Week

Maggie Jones (St. John’s Newfoundland and Labrador) - Junior - Southern Maine
Jones went 1-1 last week for the Huskies, totaling 48 saves while posting a 2.00 goals against average and a .923 save percentage. She made 16 saves in a 2-1 overtime win over Johnson & Wales on Friday night after turning away 32 shots on goal in a 3-1 setback to Bowdoin, which is receiving votes in the USCHO.com DIII Poll.

Basov scored one goal and registered one assist in the Pilgrims’ 4-3 non-conference setback at Buffalo State on Saturday.
