Player of the Week

Leana Heitmann (East Syracuse, N.Y.) - Senior - Forward - Western Connecticut
Heitmann totaled 16 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals in a 70-44 non-conference win against St. Joseph (Conn.) on Tuesday, which was the only game of the week for the Wolves. She made six-of-eight (75 percent) shots from the floor and was four-of-five from long range in the victory.

Rookie of the Week

Eva Monahan (Woodstock, Conn.) - Freshman - Forward - Rhode Island College
Monahan averaged six points, 10.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots per game in a 1-1 week for the Anchorwomen. She had six points with 12 boards and a block as RIC cruised to a 78-53 victory over Bridgewater State on Tuesday, and capped her week posting six points, nine boards and a pair of blocks in a 62-50 setback to Tufts.
