Player of the Week

Melanie DeMeo (Mahopac, N.Y.) - Senior - Guard - UMass Dartmouth
DeMeo averaged 17 points per game in a 2-1 week for the Corsairs, during which she shot 50 percent (18-for-36 ) from the field and was a near-perfect 10-for-11 from the free throw line. She also recorded 11 rebounds, nine assists and five steals across the three games. 

She posted back-to-back 20-point games on her way to being named Most Valuable Player of the 2025 UMass Dartmouth Lafrance Hospitality Classic. She dropped a career-high 22 points with three rebounds, three assists and four steals in a 77-69 victory over Emerson on Saturday before finishing the weekend with 21 points, seven boards and three assists in a 69-56 victory over Wesleyan University (Conn.) on Sunday.

Rookie of the Week

Eva Monahan (Woodstock, Conn.) - Freshman - Forward - Rhode Island College
Monahan led the Anchorwomen with 15 points on a perfect 6-for-6 shooting performance from the field and a 3-for-3 performance from the charity stripe as RIC stole a 58-57 win from MIT in the closing seconds of the contest. She also grabbed four rebounds and recorded a block in the only contest of the week for the Anchorwomen, who are now 4-1 this season.
