Keene State Repeats as LEC Men’s Cross Country Champion

KEENE, N.H. - The Keene State College men’s cross country team repeated as Little East Conference champion on its home course Saturday, posting a team total of 52 points. The Owls were led by Tyler Bolaske, who won the 8K race in 24:50.00 and in doing so was named the 2025 LEC Runner of the Year. His time is tied for fifth all-time at the LEC championship with former Owl Kevin Hoyt (2011).
 
Bolaske was one of three top-five finishers for Keene State. Griffin Urnezis was the runner-up in 25:16.40, while Nick Terranova was fifth in 25:50.70. Each earned First Team All-LEC honors with their top-seven finish.
 
Plymouth State was the team runner up, trailing the Owls by just six points. The Panthers saw First Team All-LEC performances from Noah Francis (fourth, 25:41.50) and Max Goodman (seventh, 26:04.00), while Angelo DeLuca earned Second Team All-LEC with his eight-place time of 26:05.00.
 
Also earning First Team All-LEC honors were UMass Dartmouth’s Cameron Thompson (third, 25:24.00) and Southern Maine’s Michael Cyr (sixth, 25:59.70).
 
USM freshman Harry Dunne was named the 2025 LEC Rookie Runner of the Year and a Second Team All-LEC honoree with his ninth-place time of 26:07.40. He was joined on the second team by fellow Husky Evan Schneider (14th, 26:24.10).
 
Also earning Second Team All-Conference honors by placing 8-14 in the race were Eastern Connecticut’s Zach D’Andrea (10th, 26:09.10) and Joseph Caruk (11th, 26:15.60), and Rhode Island College’s Andrew Frezza (12th, 26:17.20) and Tyler Boudreau (13th, 26:23.60).
