PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Little East Conference (LEC) announced its men’s cross country weekly award winners for the week ending September 20, 2026. Keene State College’s Tyler Bolaske was named Runner of the Week, while the University of Southern Maine’s Conner Smith was selected as Rookie of the Week following their performances last week.

Runner of the Week – Tyler Bolaske, Keene State

Bolaske led Keene State with a seventh-place finish at the Cardinal Invitational, completing the 8-kilometer course in 24:53.0. The senior from Palmer, Mass., finished seventh in a field of 131 runners at a meet that featured four nationally ranked teams. Bolaske’s performance helped the Owls place fifth among nine teams with 132 points.

Rookie of the Week – Conner Smith, Southern Maine

Smith finished 20th overall at the Maine State Meet, completing the 8-kilometer course in 25:56.0. The sophomore from Durham, Maine, competed in his first collegiate 8K and helped Southern Maine finish fifth among 12 teams.
