Offensive Player of the Week

Ava Laross (Westminster, Vt.) - Sophomore - Forward - Vermont State Castleton
LaRoss helped the Spartans go 2-0 last the week, taking down Russell Sage College 5-2 on Tuesday before returning home on Saturday where they dominated WestConn in a  5-0 LEC victory. LaRoss scored once in the win over the Gators, owning the game-winner. LaRoss then recorded five points on two goals and an assist in the triumph over the Wolves. Three of her four shot attempts found the back of the cage.

Defensive Player of the Week

Jaigan Boudreau (Dayton, Maine) - Senior - Defense - Southern Maine
Boudreau played all 184 minutes in USM's 2-1 week, recording a pair of defensive saves in the Huskies’ victories. In a 3-2 overtime win over Saint Joseph's (Maine) Boudreau recorded a defensive save in the 25th-minute that kept the match scoreless at the time. In a 3-0 win at Worcester State, Boudreau helped USM earn the shutout win with her second defensive save of the week in the 33rd-minute. 

Goalkeeper of the Week

Eleanor Folsom (Winthrop, Maine) - Senior - Southern Maine 
Folsom was 2-1 with a 1.31 GAA and a .765 save percentage for the Huskies with a shutout.  She made three saves in a 3-2 overtime win over Saint Joseph’s (Maine), and then made six saves in a 3-0 win over Worcester for the shutout. Folsom made four saves in a 2-1 setback to LEC-rival Eastern Connecticut to cap the week. 

Rookie of the Week

Maddie Niles (Benton, Maine) - Freshman - Forward - Southern Maine
Niles totaled four goals on eight shot attempts (five on-goal) in a 2-1 week for the Huskies. She scored her first goal of the week in a 3-2 overtime win against Saint Joseph's College, and then scored twice in a 3-0 win at Worcester State.  Niles recorded USM's lone goal in its 2-1 loss to Eastern Connecticut.
