MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - University of Massachusetts Boston’s Aryianna Garceau completed her first-ever trip to the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a sixth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles Saturday night at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium. That finish earned her First Team All-American honors.
Garceau turned in a time of 14:05 seconds out of lane three following an extensive weather delay. She was seeded fifth following Friday’s prelims, which saw her post a personal best time of 13.97 seconds.
The sophomore from Dalton, Massachusetts is the Little East Conference’s first-ever 100-meter hurdle All-American, and is the Beacons’ first All-American in any event since 2018. That season saw Lexy Bean, Olivia Burnes, Taylor Driggers and Wadeline Jonathas combined for seven All-American performances on their way to securing the national championship for the Beacons.
