UMass Boston's Garceau Earns USTFCCCA Northeast Regional Track Athlete of the Year

New Orleans, LA (May 29, 2026) -- The United States Cross Country and Track and Field Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the winners for the Regional Athletes of the Year, with UMass Boston's Aryianna Garceau (Dalton, Mass.) earning the Northeast Regional Women's Track Athlete of the Year award for the second consecutive season.

Garceau continues to reel in the accolades following an all-time historic conclusion to her Beacons career on the track. In the 2026 Indoor season, she won her third straight national championship in the hurdles and was also named the Northeast Regional Track Athlete of the Year. She followed her same success from the indoor season on the outdoor track following a fourth national championship and an All-Time DIII record of 13.28 from the National Championships in La Crosse, Wisconsin. 

At the Little East Conference Championships, Garceau was a four-time All-LEC First Team honoree, as she took gold in the long jump, 100m dash, 100m hurdles, and 200m dash for 40 points at the conference championships.
