PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Keene State College junior forward Jeff Hunter was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week for the week-ending December 12, 2022, after leading the Owls to a 2-1 record last week. He averaged 19 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and two blocks per contest, while shooting 56 percent (23-of-41) from the floor. 

Hunter had 14 points with eight rebounds, six assists, and two blocks at Emerson, then added 13 points with 12 boards in an 86-62 conference win at Plymouth State.  He capped the week with a career high 30 points along with 11 rebounds and eight assists in a 99-79 LEC victory at Rhode Island College Saturday. 
 
The Owls are currently 8-2 overall, and sit atop the LEC standings with a 3-0 league record.  They Owls are off until December 29, when they will take on Covenant College in the opening round of the Cregger Invitational in Roanoke, Va., and will face either No. 10 Roanoke College or Messiah College the next day.
