Nic Boyd (Portland, Ore.) - Senior - Guard - UMass Dartmouth
Boyd averaged 19.5 points and seven assists per game while shooting 46.7 percent (14-for-30) from the field and 50-percent (7-14) from three as the Corsairs won the annual LaFrance Hospitality Tournament. Boyd guided the Corsairs to a thrilling 84-83 victory over No. 25 Saint Joseph (Conn.) with a team-high 21 points, seven assists and two boards in the tournament final after he dropped a team-high 18 points with seven assists against Brooklyn College in a  dominant 102-59 season and tournament-opening win on Saturday. Boyd was named the 2025 LaFrance Hospitality Tournament Most Valuable Player for his performance on the weekend.

Rookie of the Week

Mahdee McNair (Sicklerville, N.J.) - Freshman - Guard - UMass Dartmouth
In his collegiate debut, McNair posted 13 points after going 6-for-11 from the floor with four rebounds, four assists, four steals, and one block in a dominant 102-59 season home opening win over Brooklyn College. On Saturday, the rookie guard scored 19 points on 7-of-15 while draining a team-high five three-pointers (5-of-9) to help UMass Dartmouth defeat No. 25 Saint Joseph (Conn.), 84-83. McNair was named to the 2025 LaFrance Hospitality All-Tournament Team for his performance on the weekend.
