Player of the Week

Cameron Perkins (Danbury, Conn.) - Sophomore - Forward - UMass Boston
Perkins averaged 34.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game for the Beacons last week, shooting 46 percent (24-of-52) from the field, 50 percent (6-of-12) from three and 75 percent (15-of-20) from the line. He went off for a career-high 47 points on 61-percent (17-of-28) shooting from the floor with a pair of threes, while going 11-for-12 at the line and grabbing nine boards in an overtime contest against Salem State Saturday, after netting 22 points with eight rebounds versus Salve Regina Tuesday. 

Rookie of the Week

Mahdee McNair (Sicklerville, N.J.) - Freshman - Guard - UMass Dartmouth
McNair posted a career-high 21 points for UMass Dartmouth as the Corsairs blew out Bridgewater State 129-82 Wednesday night; the 129 points scored marked the fourth highest single-game scoring total  in program history. The rookie guard shot 66.7 percent (10-of-15) from the field to go with three rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block.
