Player of the Week

Dominik Dwyer (Dedham, Mass.) - Sophomore - UMass Boston
Dwyer posted a 3-1 individual record for the Beacons last week, with a pair of victories at No. 1 singles. He posted a 6-2, 6-3 singles win over Bowdoin Allen after teaming with Mario Pangione for a 6-0 No. 2 doubles win over Chase Noble and Landon Weaver to lead UMass Boston to a 6-1 win over Southern Maine to open the week. He followed with a 7-6, 6-4 top flight singles win over Bridgewater State’s Will Horton, who entered the matchup undefeated at No. 1 in conference play, in the Beacons eventual setback to the Bears. 

Rookie of the Week

Will Horton (Lakeville, Mass.) - Freshman - Bridgewater State
Horton went 1-1 at the top singles flight and 2-0 in second doubles competition in a perfect 2-0 week for first-place Bridgewater State. He posted a 6-3, 6-1 decision over Quentin Wilkins and teamed with Ryan Hebert for a 6-3 doubles triumph in the Bears' 6-1 victory over Salem State. He also paired withHebert for a 6-2 doubles win in BSU’s 5-2 victory over UMass Boston before falling to Dwyer in singles action.
