In a 12-5 win against conference rival Southern Maine, who was leading the LEC standings entering the game, Pota notched four goals and two assists with four ground balls and three draw controls for the Wolves. Defensive Player of the Week Madison Preston (Brookfield, Conn.) - Junior - Western Connecticut Preston totaled 13 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers in a 2-0 week for the Wolves, leading a defense that yielded just six goals per game. She collected game-highs of eight ground balls and five caused turnovers in WestConn's 19-7 win at Worcester State.
