His marks in the discus and shot put were just shy of his season best performances, which rank him second and 17th in NCAA Division III this season, respectively. Track Athlete of the Week Jack McEntee (Foster, R.I.) - Sophomore - Rhode Island College McEntee won the 400 hurdles with a personal best time of 53.71 seconds at Southern New Hampshire’s Ed Daniels Invitational Saturday. That time ranks him 18th in NCAA Division III this season. Rookie Field Athlete of the Week Ryker Paradis (Lewiston, Maine) - Freshman - Southern Maine Paradis won the shot put (17.25m) and was the runner-up in the discus (48.25m) at Southern New Hampshire’s Ed Daniels Invitational Saturday. He now ranks ninth in the shot put and 31st in the discus on the NCAA Division III leaderboard this season. Rookie Track Athlete of the Week Hagen Drake (Stonington, Conn.) - Freshman - Eastern Connecticut Drake placed third in the 400 hurdles at Southern Connecticut’s Wilton Wright Invitational with a program record time of 54.45 seconds, and was fourth in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.97 seconds that is second-best in program history. His 400 hurdles time is 38th in NCAA Division III this season. Relay of the Week Plymouth State 4x400 Freshmen Cam Lee (Northwood, N.H.) and Jiasen Smith (Lisbon, N.H.), sophomore Isaias Aguasvivas Pena (Marblehead, Mass.) and senior Zach Hodge (Springfield, N.H.) teamed up to place fourth in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:27.12. That time ranks them 18th in New England this season.
