Field Athlete of the Week

Ancil Alexander (Taunton, Mass.) - Sophomore -  UMass Dartmouth
Alexander had another record-breaking weekend at Saturday's Corsair Classic, winning the discus throw with another school record and personal best throw of 54.90 meters. It was the top throw in NCAA Division III so far this season. He also won the shot put on Saturday with a mark of 15.83 meters that ranks 15th in the nation, and placed fourth in the hammer throw with a personal best mark of 45.49 meters. 

Track Athlete of the Week

Maddox Cahill (Sunapee, N.H.) - Senior - Southern Maine
Cahill finished fourth in the 400-meter hurdles at Emory’s Thrills in the Hills Invitational with a time of 54.08 seconds that ranks him eighth in NCAA Division III this season.

Rookie Field Athlete of the Week

Ryker Paradis (Lewiston, Maine) - Freshman - Southern Maine
Paradis shattered the program record for the outdoor shot put with a toss of 16.75 meters in his first outdoor meet as a Husky. Paradis also placed fifth in the discus with a throw of 44.33 meters to move into third on the program leaderboard. His shot put mark is tied for sixth in Division III, and his mark in the discus ranks fourth in the region.

Rookie Track Athlete of the Week

Omar Mishal (Peabody, Mass.) - Freshman - UMass Boston
Mishal set the program record in the 400-meter hurdles in his first outdoor collegiate meet, posting a time of 55.99 seconds at the UMass Flagship Opener that ranks fourth in the LEC and ninth among Division III New England competitors.

Relay of the Week

Keene State 4x100
Alex Nimiroski, Ethan Vitello, Sean Von Ranson and Kyle Thomas combined for a third-place time of 42.15 seconds at UMass Lowell’s D’Amour Invitational, which was 0.02 off the program record in the event.
