Offensive Player of the Week

Cody Suhr (Holbrook, N.Y.) - Junior - Attack - Western Connecticut
Suhr tallied nine goals and two assists for 11 total points over a 2-0 week for the LEC-leading Wolves. He scored six goals with one helper in a 13-11 win at Keene State, snapping a 9-9 tie followed by two more goals to pad the lead for the eventual win. His sixth goal with 5:03 left to play, giving WestConn a 12-10 lead. The junior capped the week with three goals and one assist in the Wolves’ 15-10 triumph at Salem State. 

Defensive Player of the Week

Ty Cougler (Dover, N.H.) - Junior - Keene State
Cougler collected 16 ground balls and caused 10 turnovers over a 1-1 week for the Owls, which also saw him tally three goals. He had a team-high seven ground balls and game-high four caused turnovers to go with a pair of goals in a 9-8 over Plymouth State Saturday, which saw him record his 200th career ground ball, making him just the fourth player in program history to reach the milestone. He posted game-highs of nine ground balls and six caused turnovers in KSC’s 13-11 setback to WestConn to open the week Tuesday. 

Goalkeeper of the Week

Jonathan Visser (Weymouth, Mass.) - Freshman - Massachusetts Maritime
Visser totaled 12 saves while yielding just two goals over 55 minutes of action in a 2-0 week in LEC play for the Buccaneers, giving him a 2.18 goals against average and .857 save percentage. He stopped 10 shots while allowing one goal over the first three quarters of a 27-3 rout of Vermont State Castleton. 

Rookie of the Week

Thomas Keegan (Lake Grove, N.Y.) Freshman - Western Connecticut
The rookie attack buried a game-high four goals to lift WestConn to a 15-10 victory at Salem State Saturday, which saw the Wolves rally from a 7-4 second quarter deficit to pull out the win. Keenan contributed two assists and four ground balls in a 13-11 league win at Keene State to start the week.
