Yankee Ford LEC Men’s Lacrosse Athletes of the Week: March 30, 2026 3/30/2026 6:11:06 PM Offensive Player of the Week Quinn Mucha (Barnstable, Mass.) - Junior - Massachusetts Maritime Mucha scored seven times and added one assist in a 2-0 week for the Bucs. In Maritime's 16-15 conference victory over UMass Boston, Mucha scored four goals, including the overtime winner, and had an assist. In an 18-11 non-conference win at Clark, the junior attack scored three goals, caused two turnovers, and picked up two ground balls. Defensive Player of the Week Ty Cougler (Dover, N.H.) - Junior - Keene State Cougler collected eight ground balls and caused five turnovers in a 2-0 week for the Owls, which also saw him chip in on offense with one goal and two helpers. In KSC's 17-9 win at Norwich, Cougler picked up a pair of assists while collecting two GBs and tying the game-high with two caused turnovers. In the Owls 19-3 league win over Southern Maine, Cougler added another goal for his fourth of the season, which was the eventual game-winner, while also tying the game-high of six ground balls, and recording a game-high three caused turnovers. Goalkeeper of the Week Jake Kelly (Bethpage, N.Y.) - Sophomore - Western Connecticut Kelly backstopped the Wolves to an 8-7 non-conference win over Montclair State with 11 saves to hand the Red Hawks just their second loss of the season. He had a scoreless second period and had two saves that quarter. His .611 save percentage was his third-highest in a single game this season. Rookie of the Week James Tatro (Byfield, Mass.) - Freshman - Salem State Tatro went off for six goals in Salem State’s Little East win at VTSU Castleton Saturday. He also had two ground balls and caused two turnovers in the victory.
