Field Athlete of the Week

Ancil Alexander (Taunton, Mass.) - Sophomore - UMass Dartmouth
Alexander bested his own program record in the shot put with a winning toss of 17.49 meters to win the event at the Wheaton Invitational, a mark that ranks him fifth in NCAA Division III this season. He additionally placed fifth in the weight throw at 13.56 meters. 

Track Athlete of the Week

Cameron Thompson (Sherborn, Mass.) - Junior - UMass Dartmouth
Thompson set a new personal record by winning the 1,000 meters at the Wheaton Invitational Saturday, posting a time of 2:29.98. His converted time of 2:27.94 ranks him fifth in New England this season.

Rookie Field Athlete of the Week

Ryker Paradis (Lewiston, Maine) - Freshman - Southern Maine
Paradis broke his own program record in the shot put with a throw of 16.49 meters to win the event at the Maine State Meet. His distance is tied for 20th nationally this season.

Rookie Track Athlete of the Week

Maycol Reynoso, Rhode Island College
Reynoso posted a pair  of personal best performances at UMass Lowell’s Riverhawk Invitational Saturday as he placed 16th in the 60-meter dash (7.01) and 13th in the 200 dash (22.40). 

Relay of the Week

Southern Maine 4x800
The USM 4x800 team of Conner Smith, Preston Gerry, Aidan Pecoraro and Harry Dunne placed third at the Maine State Meet with a time of 8:22.21. Their converted time of 8:15.13 ranks ninth-best in New England.
