Sean Patrone (Wilmington, Mass.) - Sophomore - UMass Dartmouth
Patrone won the high jump by clearing 2.01 meters at MIT’s Gordon Kelly Invitational, a mark that ties him for 14th in NCAA Division III this season. It was the fifth-best indoor high jump performance in UMD history.

Track Athlete of the Week

Cameron Thompson (Sherborn, Mass.) - Junior - UMass Dartmouth
Thompson placed fifth in the 3,000-meter run at MIT’s Gordon Kelly Invitational with a time of 8:41.67, a mark that is the fastest in the LEC this season. It was the fourth-best 3K performance in UMD history.

Rookie Field Athlete of the Week

Christian Briggs (West Warwick, R.I.) - Freshman - Rhode Island College
Briggs was fourth in the weight throw with a toss of 15.82 meters at the Wheaton Lyons Invitational. He ranks 14th in New England and fourth in the LEC this season.

Rookie Track Athlete of the Week

Marcos Ruiz Uben (Westerly, R.I.) - Freshman - Rhode Island College
Uben won the 400 open (51.85) and was seventh in the 60 hurdles (8.68) at the Wheaton Lyons Invitational. He now ranks second in the LEC in the 60 hurdles and seventh in the 400 in the LEC this season.
