The two assists were the first of his collegiate career, while his eight points were a career-high. Defensive Player of the Week Caiden Hettrick-Rivera (Portland, Conn.) - Senior - Back - Eastern Connecticut Hettrick-Rivera was named the LEC Defensive Player of the Week after playing all 90 minutes on defense when the Warriors opened their season with a 3-1 non-conference home win over Farmingdale State College. With Hettrick-Rivera, Eastern allowed only five shots in support of sophomore goalie Jack Harmon making his first career start, with only two of the shots reaching net. Goalkeeper of the Week Ethan Donahue (Salem, N.H.) - Senior - UMass Dartmouth Donahue was named the LEC Goalkeeper of the Week after going 2-0-0 while turning away nine of the 10 shots on target he faced in the first two matches of the season for the Corsairs. He posted five stops in a dominant 5-1 season-opening home win against Curry before registering four saves in a 2-0 road win at Dean to earn his first shutout of the season. Rookie of the Week Julian Orellana (Providence, R.I.) - Freshman - Midfield - Rhode Island College Orellana was named the LEC Rookie of the Week after he keyed a comeback in RIC's season-opening 2-2 draw with Emmanuel Friday night. With the Anchormen trailing 2-0 in the second half, he set up Ian Mackin for a goal in the 55th minute to cut the deficit in half before making two great moves to free himself up in the box and net the game-tying goal 12 minutes later.
