Player of the Week

Jaycie Christopher (Skowhegan, Maine) - Senior - Guard - Southern Maine
Christopher averaged 25.5 points and nine rebounds per game in a 2-0 week in conference play for the Huskies, while shooting 72 percent (18-for-25) from the field and 77 percent (10-for-13) from three. She scored eight of her game-high 21 points in the second quarter as USM opened a 12-point lead (35-23) on its way to a 64-47 win at UMass Boston, which also saw her grab a game-high 8 rebounds. In a home 79-55 rout of WestConn, Christopher had a career-best 30 points and pulled down 10 boards for her first double-double of the season; she was a perfect 7-for-7 from the field and 3-for-3 from three in the first half.

Co-Rookie of the Week

Maddie Topa (New Hartford, Conn.) - Freshman - Guard/Forward - Eastern Connecticut
Topa averaged 10 points and five rebounds per game in a 2-1 week for the Warriors, who reached the championship game of the Williams College Shooting Touch Tournament. She opened the tournament scoring 12 points with seven boards and four assists in a 65-45 win over St. Joseph’s (Maine) before netting 14 points with eight rebounds in a 59-55 setback to the host Ephs in the title game.

Eva Monahan (Woodstock, Conn.) - Freshman - Forward - Rhode Island College 
Monahan averaged 10 points and eight rebounds per game in a 2-0 week for the Anchorwomen against Little East competition. She posted 13 points and 10 boards while going 6-for-7 from the floor in a wild 71-70 win over UMass Dartmouth on Wednesday to open the week, before chipping in with seven points and six rebounds in a 72-52 win at Plymouth State.
