Sophie George (Meredith, N.H.) - Senior - Guard - Plymouth State
George poured in a career-high 26 points, including a pair of clutch free throws in the final seconds of overtime, as PSU outlasted WestConn, 73-72, on Saturday. She went 6-for-11 from beyond the arc, finishing two shy of the program record, and added five rebounds and three assists for the key LEC win. Her free throws with three-second left in OT gave the Panthers a 73-70 lead. 

Meagan Schuermann (Cooperstown, N.Y.) - Junior - Guard - Rhode Island College
Schuermann led RIC past Vermont State Castleton by a final of 73-44 Saturday to keep the Anchorwomen perfect (3-0) in conference play. She poured in 26 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the floor and a 4-of-5 effort from downtown to go along with six boards, two blocks and a steal in RIC’s lone contest of the week.

Rookie of the Week

Maddie Topa (New Hartford, Conn.) - Freshman - Guard/Forward - Eastern Connecticut
Topa led Eastern Connecticut to a 72-64 non-conference road win over Bridgewater State Friday night with her first career double-double. She scored 13 points on 5-of-11 shooting from the floor while posting career-highs of 12 rebounds, five steals and four blocks in the Warriors’ only contest of the week.
