PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Following a vote of the Little East Conference (LEC) women’s golf head coaches, Keene State College head coach Jeff Timmer has been named the 2025 LEC Coach of the Year. He is the first-ever LEC Women’s Golf Coach of the Year recipient.
 
Timmer guided the Owls to the inaugural LEC women’s golf championship title last week at Valley Country Club. Keene State was in second after round one, and improved its team score by 11 strokes for round two to climb to the top of the final team standings.
 
KSC’s Sadie Murray was named the LEC Rookie of the Year and earned First Team All-LEC honors with her fourth-place finish. Madison Mousley also earned First Team All-LEC honors after placing second overall, while Abby Weiterman’s seventh-place finish earned her Second Team All-LEC.
