PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Little East Conference (LEC) announced its women’s golf weekly award winners for the week ending September 13, 2026. Eastern Connecticut State University’s Caroline Goderre swept the conference’s weekly honors, earning both Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week after winning her first collegiate tournament.

Player & Rookie of the Week – Caroline Goderre, Eastern Connecticut

Goderre captured medalist honors at the ECSU Warrior Collegiate in her first collegiate tournament, firing a two-over-par 73 to finish first overall. The first-year golfer from Lebanon, Conn., won the individual title by an impressive 11 strokes on the par-71, 4,750-yard Windham Golf Course. Her performance also helped Eastern Connecticut claim the team title, finishing first among five teams at the event.

Goderre’s tournament victory earned her both LEC Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week honors.
