PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Eastern Connecticut State University baseball team held on to the No. 2 position in this week’s D3baseball.com Poll, and moved up one spot to No. 7 in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Division III Poll. UMass Boston continues to receive votes in both polls. 
 
The Warriors record stands at 18-2 this season after sweeping a Little East Conference (LEC) doubleheader against UMass Dartmouth by scores of 16-0 and 13-6 Saturday. They host single games against Western Connecticut and Anna Maria before heading to Southern Maine for a conference twin bill this Saturday.
 
UMass Boston record moved to 15-5 after splitting a non-conference doubleheader against Suffolk Friday, taking game-one 14-2 before dropping the nightcap 8-5. The Beacons host single games against Plymouth State and Tufts Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively, before hosting a conference set against Keene State Saturday.
