PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Top-seeded Rhode Island College will host third-seeded UMass Dartmouth the 2022 Little East Conference (LEC) Championship Tournament Final after both teams won their respective semifinal games Thursday night.
No. 1 Rhode Island College 59, No. 4 Southern Maine 37 - Box Score
Rhode Island College Leaders: Angelina Nardolillo scored a game-high 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the field and to go with eight boards. All of her scoring came in the first half as RIC took a commanding 37-14 lead through 20 minutes of play. Jeniyah Jones netted 13 points while pulling down a game-high 12 rebounds.
Southern Maine Leaders: Jackie Luckhardt scored nine points with two boards and two steals to lead the Huskies, while Franny Ramsdell was second on the team in scoring with six points.
Inside the Numbers: The Anchorwomen shot 47 percent (20-for-43) from the floor and 88 percent (15-of-17) from the line in the game, while the Huskies converted on just 26 percent (14-of-55) of their attempts from the floor and 69 percent (9-of-13) of their free throw attempts.

UMass Dartmouth Leaders: Jordan Moretti scored 20 points on 60-of-15 shooting from the field and a 7-for-9 performance at the free throw line to go with six boards and three assists lead the Corsairs. Caroline Wilson netted 11 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the floor.
Eastern Connecticut Leaders: Anna Barry tallied a game-high 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the floor and a 6-for-07 performance at the line to go with seven boards and three blocks. Danielle O’Brien was also in double-figures, scoring 14 points on 4-of-11 shooting from three with a pair of made free throws.
Inside the Numbers: UMass Dartmouth shot 42 percent (23-of-55) from the floor and 68 percent (17-of-25) at the charity stripe in the game, while holding Eastern to 29 percent (20-for-70) shooting in the contest. The Corsairs held the advantage in bench scoring (16-6), points in the paint (38-26) and fast break scoring (26-4) in the contest.
