Player of the Week

Jalani Jackson (UMass Boston) – Junior - Guard - Brockton, Mass.
Jackson was named the LEC Women's Basketball Player of the Week after scoring 12 of her team-high 22 points in the final 3:22 to lead UMass Boston past the U.S. Coast Guard Academy on Sunday, 74-69. The junior guard went 6-11 from the field and hit all 11 of her free throw attempts. For the season, Jackson leads the league in scoring average at 23.8 points per game, sits second in free throw percentage (90.9), and ranks fifth in both field goal percentage (54.9) and three-point shooting (40.9).

Rookie of the Week

Jennifer Driscoll (UMass Dartmouth) - Freshman - Guard - Westport, Mass.
Driscoll was named LEC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week after scoring a career-high 18 points in just 17 minutes of action as the Corsairs defeated Roger Williams 84-55. She was 6-for-7 from the floor, connecting on both three-point attempts and all four efforts from foul line. The freshman is averaging 6.1 points and 19.6 minutes per contest this season.
