24 LEC Softball Student-Athletes Named Academic All-District Honorees by College Sports Communicators 6/3/2026 10:23:19 AM PROVIDENCE, R.I. - A total of 24 softball student-athletes representing six Little East Conference (LEC) programs have been honored by College Sports Communicators (CSC) for their academic achievements with the announcement of the 2026 CSC Academic All-District Teams. To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District recognition, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. Student-athletes must also compete in 90 percent or start in at least 66 percent of an institution's games played, while pitchers must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings. Institutions must have a due-paying member of their department on-staff, and are limited to a maximum of five nominees. CSC Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, where First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in late-June.
