PROVIDENCE, R.I. - A pair of Little East Conference (LEC) women's lacrosse standouts were named to the 2026 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Region Team, it was annoucned by the organization Friday afternoon. Both were named Second Team in their respective regions. 

Katelyn D'Appolonia - Southern Maine - Midfield

• 2026 Second Team All-Pilgrim Region
• 2026 LEC LEC Midfielder of the Year
• 2026 LEC First Team All-Conference
• Led the Huskies in scoring with 59 goals and 35 assists for 94 points. 
• Also led USM with 104 draw controls and 56 ground balls, and was third with 33 caused turnovers. 
• Leads the LEC in assists, ranks second in draw controls and is third in goals and points. 

Madison Ratchford - Western Connecticut - Attack

• 2026 Second Team All-Berkshire Region
• 2026 LEC LEC Offensive Player of the Year
• 2026 LEC First Team All-Conference
• Led WestConn in scoring with 85 goals and 25 assists for 110 points.
• Also led the Wolves with 88 draw controls.
• Led the LEC in goals and points, third in draw controls, and fifth in assists.
