Defensive Player of the Week

Ty Cougler (Dover, N.H.) - Junior - Defense - Keene State
Cougler recorded nine caused turnovers and 14 ground balls in KSC's 1-1 week. In the Owls' first game of the week, Cougler opened the contest up with a bang as he caused a turnover and then scored a goal on the other side of the field to give KSC the lead. Across the entire 6-3 setback to Springfield, Cougler recorded a game-high five caused turnovers to go with his team-high six ground balls. In the Owls' 10-7 win over University of New England on Saturday, Cougler set the new career program record for caused turnovers, as just a junior, as his game-high four caused turnovers in the win pushed him past the 86 career caused turnover mark, to go with his game-high eight GBs.

Goalkeeper of the Week

Andrew Wiegand (Jefferson, Mass.) - Senior - Keene State
Wiegand continued to be a large part of why KSC has been in every game this year as he had a 6.50 goals against average and .639 save percentage in a 1-1 week, making 23 saves across the two games. He had 16 against Springfield in snowy conditions, as the Owls dropped a 6-3 decision to the Pride. He then totaled seven stops in the 10-7 victory at UNE to cap off the weekend.

Rookie of the Week

James Tatro (Byfield, Mass.) - Sophomore - Midfield - Salem State
Tatro helped Salem to a lopsided 27-5 rout of Anna Maria College, which was the only game of the week for the Vikings. He dished out a game-high six assists in the win while also chipping in two goals in his collegiate lacrosse debut. The rookie also had three ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers.
