Offensive Player of the Week 

Jack Schartner (Bolton, Mass.) - Sophomore - Attack - UMass Boston
In the Beacons first game of the 2026 season, Jack scored a team high 4 goals and tallied an assist in the Beacons win over the University of New England. UMass Boston found themselves behind early, but Schartner started the comeback scoring the Beacons second and third goal of the game to pull it to within 1 in the 1st period.

Defensive Player of the Week

Holden Kuzniar (Georgetown, Mass.) - Senior - Defense - UMass Boston
Holden caused a team high 4 caused turnovers (3 more than any other player for the Beacons) as well as picked up a team high 6 ground balls in the Beacons 15-11 win over the University of New England to start the season. Offensively, Holden got in on the action providing an assist on Matt Hutchings goal in the third to put the Beacons up 14-7.

Goalkeeper of the Week

Andrew Wiegand (Jefferson, Mass.) - Senior - Keene State
Wiegand was 1-1 with 23 saves and a .575 save percentage for the Owls last week. He had seven stops and allowed seven goals over 50 minutes of an 18-10 win over Johnson & Wales after tallying 16 saves in a 10-7 setback to Western New England.

Rookie of the Week

Cole Bowditch (Stittsville, Ont.) - Freshman - Midfield - VTSU Castleton
Bowditch scored five goals on his six shot attempts in the Spartans’ 16-13 setback at Thomas College Saturday. He also tied for the team lead with four ground balls.
