PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Little East Conference (LEC) announced its annual men's indoor track & field major award winners Thursday, following vote of the conference's nine head coaches. 

Track Athlete of the Year: Tyler Bolaske, Keene State

• 2026 LEC Champion in the mile (4:11.00 - LEC record).
• 2026 LEC runner-up in the 800 (1:59.25).
• Converted mile time of 4:07.84 from LEC Championships ranks 24th in NCAA Division III and is sixth-best in New England.
• 3,000 time of 8:18.39 from BU's David Hemry Valentine Invitational is 41st in DIII and is seventh-best in New England

Field Athlete of the Year: Ancil Alexander, UMass Dartmouth

• 2026 LEC runner-up in the shot put (15.64m).
• Season-best shot put throw of 17.49 meters from Wheaton Invitational ranks sixth in NCAA Division III and tops the DIII New England list.

Rookie Track Athlete of the Year: Michael Veegh, UMass Dartmouth

• 2026 LEC Champion in the 400 (50.54)
• Member of the runner-up 4x400 relay (3:28.67)
• Converted season-best time of 1:21.83 int he 600 is 14th-best in DIII New England. 

Rookie Field Athlete of the Year: Ryker Paradis, Southern Maine

• 2026 LEC Champion in the shot put (16.69m - LEC record)
• His LEC winning toss ranks 18th in NCAA Division III and second New England this season.

Coaching Staff of the Year: Keene State College

• Head coach Dan Roark, assistant coaches Crystal Blamy, Bill Edson, Dylan Flewelling and Kyle Maruca.
• Guided the Owls to their first LEC men's indoor title win since 2008.
• Third LEC men's indoor championship team title in program history.
