PROVIDENCE, R.I. – WestConn captured the 2026 Little East Conference (LEC) men’s soccer regular season championship and secured the No. 1 seed in the upcoming conference tournament, finishing atop the standings with 22 points.
UMass Boston earned the No. 2 seed with 16 points, joining WestConn in receiving a first-round bye. Rhode Island College finished third with 15 points, followed by Southern Maine with 12, UMass Dartmouth with 11 and Eastern Connecticut with eight. The top six teams qualified for the LEC tournament.
First-round action begins Saturday, Oct. 31, with both matches scheduled for 4 p.m. Third-seeded Rhode Island College will host sixth-seeded Eastern Connecticut, while fourth-seeded Southern Maine will welcome fifth-seeded UMass Dartmouth.
The tournament continues Wednesday, Nov. 4, with a pair of semifinal matches. Second-seeded UMass Boston will host the Rhode Island College–Eastern Connecticut winner at noon. Top-seeded WestConn will host the Southern Maine–UMass Dartmouth winner at 4 p.m.
The semifinal winners will meet Saturday, Nov. 7, at the higher remaining seed to determine the 2026 LEC tournament champion. The championship match time has yet to be announced.
Plymouth State and Vermont State Castleton each finished the regular season with six points, placing seventh and eighth, respectively. Keene State rounded out the standings with five points.
