Player of the Week

Ian Driscoll (Middletown, Mass.) - Senior - Forward - Babson
Driscoll produced two goals and three assists for five points on his way to being selected as the tournament Most Valuable Player as No. 10 Babson captured the Oswego Holiday Classic title. The senior forward scored the opening goal of the game and recorded three second-period assists on the way to recording a career-high four points in Friday’s 8-4 win over Elmira, and followed it up with another first-period tally on Saturday as the Beavers defeated Williams 4-2 in the championship game.

Goaltender of the Week

Nate Mueller (Rogers, Minn.) - Senior - Babson
Mueller went 2-0 with a 1.80 goals against average while stopping 32-of-35 shots for a .914 save percentage on his way to being named to the All-Tournament Team as No. 10 Babson captured the Oswego Holiday Classic over the weekend. The senior netminder made 18 saves over the first two periods as the Beavers built a seven-goal lead in an eventual 8-4 win over Elmira on Friday, and followed it up with 14 saves in Saturday’s 4-2 victory over Williams.

Rookie of the Week

Frank D'Ancona (Fort Meyers, Fla.) - Freshman - Forward - Norwich
D'Ancona continued his stellar rookie season with a three point week for Norwich, including a two goal effort in a 3-2 victory over Misericordia. He scored a shorthanded goal and later potted the game-winner against the Cougars, earning him All-Tournament honors at Norwich’s Northfield Savings Bank Holiday Tournament. He had an assist in the Cadet’s 3-2 overtime loss to Nazareth in their tournament opener.
