Player of the Week

Breanna Ricker (Laconia, N.H.) - Junior -  Norwich
Ricker was key in the Cadets' lone game of the week, a 2-0 non-conference victory at No. 2 Amherst on Wednesday. She set up the game-winning goal at 12:06 of the second period and potted an empty-net goal with 23 seconds remaining in the third period for a two point performance. Ricker is second on the team and in the Little East in scoring with a LEC-best 12 goals and eight assists for 20 points. 

Goaltender of the Week

Madison Brunet (Timmins, Ontario) - Senior - Norwich
Brunet continued her strong senior season with a 25 save shutout of No. 2 Amherst Wednesday night, which was the lone game of the week for the LEC-leading and eighth-ranked Cadets. The senior netminder is the LEC's leader in goals against average. (0.85) and shutouts (6), and is tied for the league lead in save percentage (.945). 

Rookie of the Week

Geena Cookinham (Gilmanton, N.H.) - Freshman - Forward - Norwich
The stellar rookie campaign for Cookinham continued Wednesday when she scored the eventual game-winning goal midway through the second period against No. 2 Amherst en route to a two-point performance; she had the primary assist on Ricker’s empty netter in the third. Cookinham now has 10 goals and 17 points on the season, totals that place her in the top-five in the LEC.
